In Religion lessons over the past few weeks, we have explored the coming of the Holy Spirit to the disciples of Jesus at Pentecost; a very special gift to remain with them. We have also inquired into the Sacrament of Baptism; What happens during a Baptism, where Baptism can take place, and why it is a special celebration. We described Baptism as our way of receiving the Holy Spirit and being welcomed into God's special family; the community of Christians, just as the disciples were on that first Pentecost day.
