From the Principal's Desk

It was great to see so many parents at 2/3's first assembly for 2024 last Thursday. The readers theatre of Charlotte's web was a highlight as was the following song 'The wonder of God'. Next Thursday is 4/5/6's first assembly for 2024 and I know they have been working hard in preparation.

A big congratulations to Molly for being All Saints' first Valuable learner of 2024. At All Saints' Primary School, students aim to acquire our ten valuable habits. Our habits are:

1. Being knowledgeable

2. Persisting

3. Listening

4. Striving for accuracy

5. Questioning

6. Inquiring

7. Responsible risk-taking

8. Being reflective

9. Taking pride, and

10. Being open to learning

Our Learning habit for this month was 'Being open to learning'.

Molly is always ‘open to learning’ in class. She never thinks she knows it all and will listen to instructions carefully, before having a go and then asking for help if she needs it. When working in groups she listens attentively to others, gives her own opinion and then helps to formulate the best way to achieve the task at hand. She regularly seeks out and listens to feedback. Because Molly has been living our learning habit of being ‘open to learning’ she has made impressive improvements this year. Thank you Molly for role modelling to All Saints’ how to be ‘open to learning’

Have a great long weekend and enjoy the extra time with your families.

God Bless

Daniel Francis
