Congratulation on Number TWOmer-Smith!

Congratulations to teacher Jessica Toomer-Smith, husband Matt and big sister Andie, on the safe arrival of their boy Spencer! A potential Socceroo alongside his sister a future Matilda's star!

It's Ninja Time!

And just like that the Ninja Warrior Course is complete!

The final stages of the Stadium playground area will be complete in the coming weeks, with the last piece of the puzzle, the OSHC vegetable garden and landscaping coming together nicely.

Thank you to CHAPs, our Parents' Association, for their fundraising efforts which continue to deliver for our community. Also, thanks to our Junior School Council members, OSHC students, and playground designers Riley and Allison for bringing the project to life!

The area will be a great resource for OSHC, PE and Sport, and a quieter playground at recess and lunchtime for those who prefer that type of environment.

Cross Country

I encourage readers to head over to the What's Happening at CHPS page for a full rundown of the outstanding performances at Division Cross Country.

From me it's a huge thank you to our dedicated team of PE teachers! Thank you Jarrod Butcher, Jayne Taffe, Chelsea Blahah, and Laura Yorke for all you've done supporting the growth of sports culture at our school. We've gone from strength to strength post COVID and it's because of your dedication to providing and preparing students to extend themselves.

School Review - Parent Voice

Our school is scheduled for it's Department of Education School Review this year. This process involves reviewing the school's 2020-2024 Strategic Plan and its associated goals and targets. The review process also involves exploring other school performance data and developing the school’s next 4-year School Strategic Plan.

As a part of the pre-review process, the school engages stakeholders to gather feedback that can be tabled to the Review Panel. On Monday evening, CHAPs reflected on the school's achievements and guided thinking relative to areas of growth. This workshop followed on from the School Council sharing their thoughts last month and staff before that. Student forums will be occurring in the coming weeks.

Stakeholder groups will have an opportunity to provide further feedback with the Review Panel on our Fieldwork Days on Wed 31/7/24 and Thurs 1/8/24.
