JLA

As we wrap up a busy and productive term, we wanted to take a moment to share some of the exciting learning activities your children have been involved in!
In ICT, the students have practiced their typing skills and learned how to type their recounts with more speed and accuracy. It has been wonderful to see their confidence grow in this area!
In Mathematics, we have been having lots of fun with maths games to support our learning in Number and Algebra. The students have started exploring addition and have enjoyed working with numbers in different ways, building their number sense while having fun with their peers.
We’ve also focused on collaboration, with students working together in pairs and groups to solve problems and complete tasks. It has been fantastic to see them share ideas, communicate effectively, and support one another in their learning.
We’ve explored a range of texts, from fiction to non-fiction, broadening our understanding of the world around us. The students have been engaging with stories, developing their skills in comprehension, prediction, and making connections to their own experiences.
The students have created beautiful artwork inspired by Holy Week. The artwork allowed them to express their understanding of this important time while showcasing their creativity.
Let’s not forget our Shrove Tuesday pancakes!
It has been a wonderful term of growth, learning, and fun. We are so proud of all the progress each student has made and look forward to another exciting term ahead!
Wishing you all a restful break!
