Swimming Champs
26 of our students represented our school at Division Swimming at Northcote Aquatic Centre on Wednesday. We are extremely proud of their efforts, and we wish Elara and Daniel all the very best when they are representing our school at regional level!
School Photos
Tuesday was our school photo day. I intend to share feedback with the students at assembly today, but I am delighted to report to our families that I received very positive feedback on the day from the company about how impressed they were with our student behaviour throughout the day. Managing a large group of students for an event like this can be challenging and companies rely heavily upon cooperation and respectful behaviour from students. It was wonderful to hear that the photographers had an enjoyable day and that our students were some of the best that they have come across. A huge congratulations to all of students for upholding our CARE values once again!
Change of Assembly Day and time
In the interests of being SunSmart all year round we are moving our assembly back to our previous timeslot on Mondays at 9:00am. This means that students are more likely to have the full ‘stage’ experience with an audience when presenting or receiving acknowledgments of any kind. We have had to move many assemblies indoors on high UV days so this will no longer be a challenge. We have also received feedback from families that Monday mornings are easier to attend for those required in the office so we are hopeful that this change of time will be pleasing to you. We will run assemblies on the following dates for the remainder of term 1.
Week 10- will include the Monday March 31st morning assembly and a brief 2:15pm-2:30pm assembly on Friday April 4th due to end of term.
Thank you to our PFA for our first icy pole day today!
