Get to know Zeituna Hussein - Community Liaison Officer

What is your role in the College? I am a Community Liaison Officer.

What is your favourite colour? Blue and green are my favourite colours because they are the colours of ocean and nature.

What is your favourite number and why? Number 2 is my favourite number because I am the second born in my family.

What is your favourite book and why? My favourite book is The Olive Trees by Mariam El Houli. It is the story about survival, strength, and friendship so I enjoyed reading and learning about the resilience of others in story. 

What is your favourite food? My favourite food is rice and chicken.

What do you like most about teaching and learning? I enjoy being part of a community and sharing knowledge with others to support our students to enhance my communities participations in education and help emerging future leaders.

What is your role in the College? I am Year 7 English , Year 9 English and 9 A Home Room Teacher.

What is your favourite colour? My favourite colour is blue.

What is your favourite number and why? My favourite number is 21 – my son was born on the 21st.

What is your favourite book and why? My Favourite books are The Journeys of the Clever Man by Author Imme Dros  and The Resilience Project: Finding Happiness through Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness by Author – Hugh Van Cuylenburg.

What is your favourite food? My favourite food is Seafood.

What do you like most about teaching and learning? I love having the opportunity to make a positive impact and witness growth every single day.
