Luke 4:1-13
In the desert, Jesus is tempted by the devil.
Why do you think Jesus went into the desert for 40 days?
How did Jesus respond to the devil's temptation?
What are some temptations we might face in our daily lives?
How can we use prayer, fasting, and giving to help us during Lent, just like Jesus stayed strong in the desert?
Shrove Tuesday provided a great opportunity to teach procedural writing through the process of making pancakes!
Thank you to the parents and students who attended our Reconciliation Information Session on the 26th of February.
These sessions are essential as they provide important information about your child’s sacramental journey, helping you to support them in meaningful ways. We know that every child is unique and that we need to support every child in their faith journey.
Attending allows parents to:
Understand the Sacrament – Learn about the significance of Reconciliation and how it deepens your child’s faith.
Know What to Expect – Receive key details about the preparation process, important dates, and expectations.
Support Your Child at Home – Gain practical guidance on how to discuss and reinforce the sacrament’s meaning with your child.
Be Part of the Faith Community – Connect with other families and share in this special time of spiritual growth.
Your presence at these sessions ensures a shared commitment to your child's faith formation.
We look forward to seeing you at the next Reconciliation Information Session on March 12th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. at our Parish Community Centre.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone from 3 /4A and 3 /4 who contributed to our morning tea and participated in Mass. Your generosity, time, and presence made the occasion truly special.
Your support helps create a strong and faith-filled community, and we are so grateful for the way you come together to celebrate these moments with us.
We appreciate all that you do and look forward to sharing more wonderful experiences with you in the future.
