McClelland College -Schools that Excel Winner for Southern Melbourne
It’s been another busy term with so many activities and events for our students to participate in as well as a number of significant school and individual achievements among staff. The school received recognition for being the Southern Melbourne Winner in The Age’s: Schools that Excel for 2023 for our outstanding VCE results for the past five years. It’s great recognition of our strong teaching and learning and “Education by Design” approach to personalised learning that we have developed and honed here over the years. The story is behind a paywall for subscribers to The Age so we have taken screenshots and added them to a gallery. I encourage you to read it as it reflects the holistic approach to education that we take at McClelland College.

Individual Success
We are very proud to announce that Miss White has been awarded a 2023 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Award. She was recently flown to Canberra to receive the award in a special ceremony held in Parliament. As a recipient of this award, she will receive a 12-month teaching fellowship along with additional funding for professional development funding within the school. Our heartfelt congratulations go out to Miss White on this achievement, we are very proud!
