What's making news this fortnight

Year 12 Tops👕

Last week the long awaited Year 12 tops arrived!

Our students are incredibly proud to wear these shirts. They celebrate their final year of school and are a fantastic final product of their own design project.

They have done a fabulous job!

Father's Day 😄

To celebrate Father's Day this year we invite Dads/special people to join us on Friday the 1st of September.

Please see details below for each Unit.

Early Years: 2.15pm - 2.45pm afternoon tea and outdoor game

Lower Middle Years:  8.30am - 9am hot drink and croissant in classrooms

Upper Middle Years: 10.30am - 11am morning tea in classrooms

Senior Years: 9.30am - 10am hot drink and croissant in Home Group Rooms

A gift stall will also be running on the day for students to purchase a gift to take home for their chosen person. Gifts will range from $2 - $7.

Book Week 📚

One of our favourite events of the year is nearly here - Book Week!

On Friday the 25th of August we encourage all students to come to school dressed up as their favourite character from a book. A parade to show off all the wonderful costumes will be happening at 11am followed by a sausage sizzle at 12pm.

Parents/carers are welcome to join us for the parade.

Student Representative Council 💬

Our Student Representative Council (SRC) is actively engaged in regular meetings where they discuss a wide range of topics- from ideas for upcoming events, to feedback on recent camps - to give a voice on behalf of the student body.

This week, a special highlight was the distribution of official SRC badges to each member. It's heartening to see these badges proudly displayed in the school yard.

A thank you to Matt Gill and Kylie Freeman for their ongoing leadership in guiding the SRC meetings. These meetings ensure that student voice remains at the forefront of our school's decision-making process.

2023 Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Survey 📄

The 2023 Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey (PCGOS) is now open and closes on Friday 8 September 2023.

An invitation to complete this survey has been sent out to all families last week via Seesaw.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback which will assist us and the wider school community.

Enjoy your weekend 😊
