Boys Netball

The Intermediate and Senior boys netball teams participated in regionals at Waverley Netball Stadium on Monday the 24th July.The intermediates unfortunately lost all of their games. There were a few unlucky injuries and position changes that had to be made to proceed into round, but the boys tried their best and were very competitive against Vermont, Norwood and Heathmont. The MVP goes to Lachy Weaver for his consistent effort and high impact game play, Miles Laherty for being dynamic in being able to play any court position and Paddy Harding for his intercepts and high quality defence.

The senior boys team won their games against Highvale and Norwood, with a loss to Forest Hill, putting them into second place and into the semi final. The boys had a tough semi final match against Brentwood, winning the first quarter, down at half time, even at third quarter… only to lose by a mere 2 points in a highly competitive fight for a place in the grand final. The MVP goes to Lachy Harding for his intercepts and high quality defence and Fraser Truscott for his court movement, stability and fantastic shooting.
