Peer Support

Year 7 students had their last peer support session in term 3. The last session also marked their 100 days of high school. The year 10 peer support leaders celebrated this milestone with the year 7s and wrapped up the program.

Although the 2023 peer support sessions are officially completed, the support in our school community will continue.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the recruitment for 2024 peer support leaders, which will take place from Week 1 Term 4.  Our current year 9 students will have the opportunity to express their interest in becoming peer support leaders for our incoming 2024 year 7s. Our peer support mentors, and the wellbeing social work placement students will provide training to the new peer support leaders later in Term 4 after the interview screening process.

On behalf of 2023 Box Hill High School Peer Support Program team, we would like to thank our 54 peer support leaders who dedicated their time and energy for current year 7s. 2023 peer support leaders played a significant role in supporting our year 7’s high school transition. We are very proud of what you have achieved this year!
