God is Great!

This week our Primary School students were blessed to have a visit from “Quizworx” – a group that share the Good News of Jesus in creative, fun and engaging ways. We had lots of fun hearing from puppets, people and the occasional rubber chicken, about how great God is – that he made the whole world and that he loves people everywhere.

This end-of-term treat was in place of our usual Primary chapel services and brought much joy to our students from Prep to Year 6 - and even the teachers! 

Next week Quizworx will be presenting a free holiday program at a local church - St James Anglican Church, Pakenham. Primary-aged students are welcome to attend and hear more from Quizworx about the great love of God.

Season of Creation

Throughout the year, there are various seasons of worship in the Church Calendar such as Lent, Advent and Pentecost. In more recent years, some churches have begun celebrating the “Season of Creation”, from September 1st to October 4th. 

This is an opportunity for Christians across the world to come together in a time of celebration, prayer and advocacy for God’s beautiful creation. Happily in Australia, this coincides with the beginning of Spring – a perfect time to enjoy God’s creation in all its fullness. 

Today as our whole College gather for our end-of-term Chapel, we were encouraged to spend time these school holidays enjoying and caring for creation and remembering how loved we are by our creator God.
