Book Week

And that’s a wrap on book week for 2023. We had so much fun last Monday with our Community Learning Day and dressing up as our favourite characters! 

Literacy and Numeracy

We also celebrated Literacy and Numeracy week. All students enjoyed our community learning day on Monday where they had the opportunity to participate in two numeracy experiences and two literacy experiences in multi age groups. The grade 1/2 students engaged with our new numeracy topic of Multiplication and have shown huge growth in being able to group items together. We have also learnt a new writing style- Information text and it is awesome to see how many facts the students know about their chosen topic. 

Religion

We have been super busy in Religion identifying our own gifts. We have created our own “gift boxes'' that represent the gifts that make us unique. Our next step is to identify how we can use our gifts to help others in the community. We thank Maryanne Lovering for taking the time to share her gifts with us all and to discuss how people can share their gifts with the community.
