Physical Education and Sport
In the first few weeks of Term One, Physical Education classes have worked diligently on deciding how they can be successful in PE and what traits they’d have to show to be their best. Have a look at our ‘Essential Agreements’ below.
Students used ‘Slido’ or ‘Word Cloud’ to add their own responses, they worked collaboratively to form their ideas, and they then discussed how they’d be successful in PE with their peers. These behaviours will be their focus for the school year in our Physical Education lessons.
ENPS Swimming Carnival
It was exciting to see the students in Year Four to Six wearing their brightest reds, blues, greens and yellows to kick start ENPS Swimming Carnival! We had an amazing day with plenty of talented swimmers showing off their skills at Keilor East Leisure Centre.
Congratulations to all students for completing their events, showing wonderful enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and contributing to the overall House Points on the day. It was a close competition with Baan House taking out the overall win.
Successful students who will represent Essendon North Primary School at the District Swimming on February 28th have been notified and the Compass event has been sent out regarding all information.
Year Four, Five and Six - School Sports Victoria (SSV) Tryouts
In 2024 Team Vic representative program is providing a development platform for Victoria’s emerging student athletes to participate in the annual School Sport Australia (SSA) Championships. SSV coordinates the selection process for students to participate in Vic teams.
Parents and carers please read the Team Vic Information Sheet on the sport page before registering your child. This document contains important information on the SSV Team Vic Program, in relation to eligibility, registration, multiclass, selection, participation costs, and financial assistance.
