New Staff

Please help us welcome the following new staff to our community.

Mr Craig Smith

Craig is entering his 19th year of teaching Mathematics and Science. In the last three to four years he has also taught Research Project. The large majority of his teaching career was spent at Prince Alfred College where he taught for thirteen years. Craig has two children, Imogen and Ella. Craig has a passion for sport (most sports) and a love for music. After enjoying a short stint working at Endeavour as a relief teacher last year, Craig is looking forward to continuing to share the learning journey with students and continue to develop his working relationships with other staff.

Mrs Karen Kerber

Karen is excited to return to the Endeavour community in her new role this year as Student Wellbeing Receptionist. You will find her located in The Well on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday where she will welcome and support students and staff visiting the Well, as well as supporting Marni and Henry our College Counsellors. Karen looks forward to continuing to support our students along their educational journey.

Mrs Kobi Poser

Kobi joins Endeavour College this year within the role of Student Wellbeing Receptionist two days a week, where she will be assisting the counsellors and being a friendly and welcoming face to the students. 

Kobi is an old scholar of Endeavour College and has helped out when needed within various rolls over recent years. 

When Kobi is not in the Well she is looking after her 1 year old son, and most likely enjoying a few much needed coffees.

 

 

 

 

Mrs Michaela Balnaves 

Michaela joins Endeavour College as our new Science Laboratory Technician, while Michelle Munday is enjoying her maternity leave. Prior to coming to Endeavour College, Michaela worked at Nazareth Catholic College for six years and Seaton High School for nine years in the same role. Michaela has a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biochemistry.

She has two children, Catherine and Christopher, both of which are in the workforce with established career paths of their own.

Outside of school Michaela enjoys scrapbooking and ballroom dancing, competing in both local and interstate competitions. Last year, Michaela won gold in one of her routines at the National Championships in Melbourne.

Ms Michelle Pfitzner 

Michelle is excited to join Endeavour College as Business Director and brings experience in a range of roles including finance, corporate/business management, compliance, risk, and administration. Michelle is passionate about using her skills and experience to contribute to the community. 

In her spare time, Michelle has a love of sport, particularly Formula One, and enjoys experiencing new adventures.

Miss Naomi Parker

Naomi joins us as a Japanese and Christian Living teacher at Endeavour this year. Naomi is passionate about Japan and is eager to share her passion in her classes. She has spent over 2 years in Japan as an assistant language teacher and has recently graduated from her Master of Teaching here in Adelaide. 

She looks forward to being a part of the Endeavour community.

Miss Paige Tregenza 

Paige joins us as a Year 7 English, HASS, Christian Living and Health teacher for Semester 1. Paige is a recent graduate from the University of Adelaide where she completed a Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary)/ Bachelor of Arts and is looking forward to beginning her teaching journey at Endeavour College. 

Outside of the classroom, she is passionate about sports and plays both field hockey and netball. Paige is looking forward to being a member of the Endeavour College community.

Mr Paul Forrester Brown

Paul joins us this year at Endeavour College teaching Mathematics and Christian Living.

Paul began his teaching career as a Kindergarten Teacher in Australia, then New Zealand, where he met and married his wife. 

In New Zealand he decided to use his Mathematics degree and entered Secondary teaching. 

His teaching career has taken him to international schools in Hong Kong (where he adopted his two youngest children), Thailand,  Australia and New Zealand. Paul has had the privilege of teaching IB, American AP, New Zealand NZCE and IGCSE and has learned a lot along the way.

Paul has also enjoyed being part of the Duke of Edinburgh programme for over 20 years, which has enabled him to lead students on expeditions to several countries.

Paul came to faith in his mid 30s in New Zealand, which has anchored his life and provided a deep sense of purpose. 

Miss Tayla Priebbenow

Tayla is joining the ministry team this year as Ministry Assistant after supporting the Ministry Team for some of 2023. She is excited to meet and work with students during chapels, Christian Living classes, camps and other school events. Outside of school, Tayla enjoys getting out into nature and partaking in activities such as camping, running and hiking.

Dr Tracie Whittle

Tracie will be teaching Science and Stage 2 Physics at Endeavour College this year. Tracie has a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Sheffield University UK. She spent ten years teaching undergraduate science at the University of South Australia, before moving into secondary education. 

Outside of the classroom Tracie enjoys knitting and crochet, especially Amigurumi!
