Student Achievements

Abbey Jones and Emily Becker

Towards the end of 2023, several Year 10 Food Technology students entered into the HEIA SA statewide Junior Home Economics Competition. Students could enter across three different categories- The Home Today, Our Sustainable Future and Australia’s Native Food and Fibre.

We would like to congratulate Emily Becker and Abbey Jones for receiving 3rd place in the state for their entry ‘Wattle-Seed Cheesecake with Davidson Plum Sauce’ which was created as part of their Native Dessert Trail Unit. Charlotte Clogstoun, Imali Flores-Stokes and Briannah Cevallos-Stokes received an Honorable Mention for their entry ‘Indigenous Art in a Smoothie Bowl’.

It has been wonderful to see Endeavour students showing courage by putting their work out there to be judged.

Well done to all who entered.

Ashleigh Foot

Late last year, Ashleigh competed in the Cheercon National Cheerleading Championships in Sydney. Her squad from South Coast Elite Cheerleading placed first in their Junior 1 Division. Congratulations to you and your team Ashleigh for winning this national title. What an amazing effort, and good luck for your upcoming cheer competitions this year.

Food Technology Learning Leader

Henry Le Ray

Late last year Henry was selected in the U14 Boys State Water Polo Team, and nominated to be vice captain, representing South Australia at the National Australian Youth Water Polo Championships held in Brisbane just recently.

With the majority of the state team hailing from PAC and St Peter's, Henry was excited to represent Endeavour.

The SA team unfortunately did not secure a podium finish; however, all boys enjoyed the experience immensely and learnt a lot.

Well done Henry! Your endurance and strength must be phenomenal.

Jack Wilton

Jack was recently selected to be part of the U16 State Baseball Team, and competed at the Australian Youth Baseball Championships held in Blacktown, New South Wales during the summer break (January 10th -17th).

The boys played hard and proud, representing the state well, finishing 5th overall. Jack was the youngest member of the state squad, and the tournament was an invaluable learning experience for him and his future in baseball.

Well done Jack!

We look forward to where baseball takes you next.
