Vision for Learners

Class of 2023 Academic Success

As a College community we congratulate students from the Class of 2023 on their outstanding results.

At Endeavour College, students have an extended array of opportunities offered to them.

When we look at the academic results, the pathways chosen by students,

the extra-curricular choices and the focus on the three Vision for Learners pillars - Independence, Interdependence and Collective Action, it makes me so proud to be working at a place that values the holistic development of all students.

The individual and collective success of the Class of 2023, reflects their passion to improve and be better. At our Opening Service we celebrated the academic and community achievements of this cohort.

Governor’s Commendation

The Governors Commendation is awarded to a small number of students who showed excellence of the highest level in their studies and in their embodiment of the SACE Capabilities. This is a very prestigious award and we congratulate Jesse Isaac on this achievement. As one of the 2023 College Captains, Jesse led by example and consistently showed integrity and compassion in this role. He achieved outstanding academic results and was acknowledged and applauded for his achievements in field hockey as a national accredited referee and his work and ranking in the Airforce cadets.

Congratulations to the Class of 2023 on their achievements and commitment to their studies.

Laptop Information Session for 2024

The Laptop Information Session and Live Q&A is an important part of building the connections between home and school. The aim is to share clearly the College's approach to these devices, the enhanced learning opportunities they offer and the more formal policies and procedures. If you are new to the College this year and missed this session, the session will remain available online for the next week. Please take the time to view the presentation and contact the College with any questions you might have. Please note that further Canvas information will go to families next week.

Discovery Centre:

Almost ready to take you out of this world!

As the official launch of the Discovery Centre draws closer, key staff who will champion and manage this facility started their training. These immersive technology opportunities are so exciting and offer so much as an enhancement to the curriculum and teaching methodologies of teachers. Mrs Adolphi flew a 1943 bomber across the skies during the Berlin Blitz and student captain, Miles Pennington explored Google Earth and even took a stroll down Mawson Lakes Boulevard past the College.

Throughout the day, students have been making good use of the new Poddiys. Students can record their own podcasts and interviews quickly and easily.

This whole space is so exciting, and we look forward to regularly sharing how these technologies are being used in classrooms to support and enhance learning. The possibilities for subject areas are endless.
