Beginning of the 2024 School Year Mass

It was wonderful to have some school families attend the Beginning of the School Year Mass on Sunday 4 February and stay to share morning tea with the parishioners after Mass. Thank you to those who were able to attend and those who were involved with the Readings, Prayers of Intercession, Offertory Procession and serving the morning tea as well as assisting with cleaning up. 

We were fortunate to have the talented Excelsis Choir lead the singing at the Mass. Their singing and song choices compliment the beauty of the celebration of the Eucharist. Try to attend a 10.30 am Mass on the first Sunday of each month to hear them sing while you participate in the Mass.

Ash Wednesday and Lent

The school community will attend and participate in the 10.00 am Ash Wednesday Mass on 14 February. Family members and friends are most welcome to join in this special Mass. 

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Church's season of Lent, a time of preparation to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus at Easter. 

Reconciliation 

Our Year Three Students will be preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation this term. All families in Year Three should have received a Reconciliation update that went home with their child this week.  Here are the important dates to note:
