Volunteer Information for Fete Day

To all our volunteers! 👋

Ahead of Saturday’s fete, here’s some important information about site access and arrival:

⏰ Please ensure you arrive on time so everything can run smoothly.

Morning shifts 8:00am and 10:30am

Please enter via the gate at the end of the carpark between OSH Club and the school. There will be no access via Hawthorn Rd until 11:00am, so this will be the only entry point for morning volunteers.

Afternoon shifts 12.30pm & 2.30pm

You will be able to enter via the main entrance on Hawthorn Rd.

📍 On arrival, please head to the NPS Info Stand to sign your OHS induction sheet (if you haven't done so before fete day) before making your way to your stall. This induction is "fete" specific and different to the online induction sessions that are run.

*The online induction is required and mandatory for you to be a volunteer at Northcote Primary School, if you have not had an opportunity to attend one of Shauns sessions please come to the office watch the short video and sign the volunteer forms. This would mean that you are fully compliant as a voulnteer at our school for ALL events this includes and is essential for FETE.

To skip the queue on arrival at the fete, there is an opportunity to sign the induction sheet at school when collecting your wristbands or at any time before the day at the office.

🚗 Parking

The OSH carpark will be closed on fete day. Please also do not park on Hawthorn Rd if you are part of the pack-down crew, as this area needs to remain accessible for the rides company.

📞 You will shortly be receiving an email with your stall lead's contact details in case you need to reach someone on the day. And for those uncertain, give us a call happy to just have a chat.
