REMINDER: Donations for Christmas Hampers 

Thank you to everyone who has already sent their donation to school to help senior students pack hampers for our brothers and sisters in need.

There is still time if you have yet to bring in your donation! 

KINDERGARTEN: Christmas cake or pudding

YEAR 1: 1 kg tin of ham (family size)

YEAR 2 & YEAR 4: Bon-bons/Christmas crackers

YEAR 3: 1 jar of instant coffee

Last day for donations will be 27 November.

Senior School Cake Stall Extravaganza 

Thank you so much to the Holy Family community for supporting Senior School with their annual St Vincent de Paul Cake Stall Fundraiser this Wednesday - we raised an enormous $1000. The shopping for the Hampers will begin next week. We appreciate all your support.

Prayer for Peace in the Holy Land

In light of the unfolding situation in Israel and Palestine, AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED has created prayer cards which will be distributed to families this week. This international Catholic foundation is Pope Francis' initiative. The foundation is dedicated to the spiritual and pastoral support of suffering and persecuted Christians. 

The foundation insists that the most effective response we have as Christians is prayer. Pope Francis affirms us that "Prayer is the meek and holy force to oppose the diabolical force of hatred, terrorism and war".

Please join us in prayer this week for peace:

PRAYER FOR PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Lord Jesus Christ,

The Holy Land is once again struck by violence, hatred and death. 

Lord, look with mercy upon the land that was your earthy home.

Receive the deceased into your presence.

Comfort those who mourn, are wounded, or forced to flee.

Be close to all who are full of fear and despair.

You are our peace and the light of the nations,

put an end to the spiral of terror and suffering in the Holy Land 

and in the whole Middle East.

Let peace and justice flourish at the holy sites.

You are our refuge.

Let the people be safe in you Love.

Have mercy on us and on our time.

Amen.
