Meet Our Educators

Michelle Hughes-Gage

My name is Michelle but you are welcome to call me Shell. I am an experienced and Qualified Early Childhood Educator.

My favourite part about working with families and children is building meaningful relationships where I can provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn based on each child’s individual interests and development.

My hobbies include gardening, camping, exploring nature, Arts and Craft and swimming.

Emily Jewell

I am currently studying a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education as well as a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I have an interest in learning about child development, and wish to go into early childhood research eventually! My favourite part about working with young children is to see their extensive growth and development throughout such a critical period. 

My favourite thing to do with my family is to have breakfast and then go for a beach walk after. It is how we spend time together while we’re both quite busy!

Our Early Learning program is available for girls and boys from 3 years of age running 5 days a week, Mondays through to Fridays, from 7.30am until 6.00pm.

Our Early Learning Centre provides a warm and welcoming start to your child’s educational journey. From the moment your child joins the Mount Carmel community, they are supported and guided to grow and celebrate their individual success.
