Team Leaders Message
As we bid farewell to an amazing term, we reminisce on the fantastic and action packed journey we've shared this term. From week one, it's been a whirlwind of excitement, learning, and loads of fun!
Anglesea Surf Camp Adventure: Our Secondary 9/10 students embarked on an unforgettable adventure at Anglesea Surf Camp, experiencing giant swings, conquering vertical high ropes, and catching waves at the beach. Back at school, an alternative timetable brought unique experiences including excursions, cooking, shared lunches and even circus classes!
Discovery: In Term 4, our focus turned to environmental sustainability. Students explored human impact on our planet and embraced their power to make a positive change. Sustainability Projects like collecting plastic bottles and composting showcased their commitment to a better future.
Sailing, WaterMarc and Athletics Carnival: Sailing at The Boatshed in Albert Park Lake pushed boundaries and brought new horizons. WaterMarc's waterslides added excitement and the Secondary Sports Day united everyone in smiles and laughter.
Basketball Victories: Cheers to our interschool basketball team! The A Team in Division 1 dominated, winning the Grand Final undefeated. Special mentions to Lachlan McConnell, the tournament's top scorer, and Alicia Bamblett for outstanding teamwork. The B Team fought valiantly, losing by just 2 points in overtime. Lachlan Hancock's collaborative spirit earned him recognition and a special thank you to our very own hero, coach Mark.
Not all superheroes wear capes.
Hoyts Fun Day: Our students enjoyed a cinematic treat, choosing between The Marvels and the whimsical world of Wonka. Lunch in the food court added joy as friends shared laughter and good times.
Farewell to Cath and our Year 10 Superstars: As the curtain falls on the school year, we bid a heartfelt farewell to Cath, who has been instrumental in shaping the awesome 9/10 section that it is today and implementing the Berry Street Education Model. Her dedication and bad jokes will be greatly missed. To our incredible Year 10s transitioning to Year 11, we wish you success. Your resilience and spirit brighten our days. As the holiday season approaches, enjoy a well-deserved break.
Thanks for another incredible term, and we look forward to creating more memories in the coming year.
