From the Principal

It goes without saying that the last two weeks have been a challenging one for our community. I want to thank you all for the prayers and support you have offered the Greatbatch family and Sandy Shand. It has been wonderful to see displays of love and care in so many ways these past few weeks.

I am aware that for some it can be personally challenging to receive news of a death in our community. The schools’ resources are here to support all members of our community at this time. Speaking to your children about the death of a community member is challenging and often parents feel unequipped for such a conversation.  In partnership with our Wellbeing Team, I have included some resources below that provide guidance to parents as they answer questions. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them (wellbeing@lcs.tas.edu.au) should you require guidance or assistance.

My prayer is that you will all feel Gods special closeness at this time.

NAYBA Impact Audit Report

Last week I was privileged to attend the launch of the Launceston NAYBA Impact Audit Report. This report is an analysis of the work that Church organizations are undertaking in our local Launceston area. Please take a moment to read over as it is very encouraging to see the positive impact Churches are having in our local community. I have attached a scanned copy here:
