District Swimming

Last Friday, our school proudly sent 22 of our students to compete in the District Swimming event held at Parhan Pools. It was a day filled with excitement and spirited competition as our swimmers showcased not only their remarkable swimming skills but also embodied the core values of our school of kindness, resilience, creativity, and curiosity.

Well done to the following students for stepping up, diving into the pool, and pushing themselves out of their comfort zones to participate.

Competing against a diverse range of schools within our network, our students rose to the occasion and displayed outstanding sportsmanship throughout the event. We are proud to announce that two of our exceptional swimmers have qualified for the Division Swimming event! Lanna finished 2nd with a time of 57.76 to qualify for the Girls 11 50m Breaststroke, and Aurelia finished 1st with a time of 1:00.45 to qualify for the Girls 11 50m Butterfly. These two students will be heading off to Division Swimming on Friday, March 8th to compete in their events.

A special shoutout to Prue Donaldson and Lisa Richards for taking the students on an exciting adventure on the tram to the event and cheering everyone on so loudly. Additionally, a big thank you to all the families who came along to support the entire school community.
