Sacrament of Reconciliation

Dear Parents and Carers

Confession, also known as the Sacrament of Penance, holds a significant place in the Catholic faith. It is a sacred practice where individuals confess their sins to a priest, receive absolution, and experience God's forgiveness and mercy.

As we delve into the Lenten season, a time of reflection, penance, and preparation for Easter, the sacrament of Confession holds a special significance. Confession during Lent serves as a powerful means of spiritual renewal, helping us cleanse our souls, restore our relationship with God, and experience His boundless mercy.

This is a special opportunity for the students in Stage Two (Years Three and Four) and Stage Three (Years Five and Six) to be able to participate in the Sacrament of Penance in the coming weeks. Thank you to Fr. Wojciech and Fr. Jeremy who will lead the students in this sacrament.

May this experience during Lent serve as a transformative opportunity for our children to deepen their faith, seek reconciliation with God, and embark on a path of spiritual renewal.

Let us embrace this opportunity with open hearts and minds as we continue to nurture our faith community.

God Bless,

Nancy Kubti
