We are well into the Year 11 course and I wanted to take a moment to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Year 11 on the remarkable start they have made this term. Your commitment to your studies, your personal growth, dedication, enthusiasm, and resilience has been inspiring and has set a positive tone for the entire College community.  Whether it's acing that challenging assessment task, pushing yourselves in extracurricular activities such as a wolverines knock out team or simply lending a helping hand to a classmate in need, your efforts have not gone unnoticed. The recent participation in the My Strengths program was excellent and I hope all parents and carers received their sets of cards about their child's the top 5 strengths.

Speaking of resilience, I want to emphasize the importance of this quality as we continue through the year. There will undoubtedly be setbacks or moments of difficulty but it is through perseverance and resilience that we learn and grow. Keep pushing yourselves, stay focused on your goals, and never hesitate to reach out for support when needed.

In addition to your academic pursuits, I encourage each of you to explore the diverse range of extracurricular activities on offer at Wyndham College. Whether it's joining a sports team, participating in the vocal club or getting involved in community service projects like the recent Clean up Australia Day, these experiences not only enrich your College experience, but also foster valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management.

I am also delighted to congratulate the newly elected members of the Student Representative Council (SRC). Your peers have placed their trust in you to represent their interests and voices. I have no doubt you will serve with integrity and dedication. Your role is crucial in shaping the student experience at the College, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact you will undoubtedly have.

Finally, a gentle reminder that the last day of school for this term is Friday the 12th of April. As we approach the end of term, let's finish strongly; make the most of our time; continue the fantastic start to the year; and strive for excellence in all that we do.
