ping-pong-a-thon
Come and join us after school on Friday the 16th of August as we will be hosting a great event to build community , have a heap of fun together, and to top it off, to raise money for an incredible cause!
There will be a jumping castle, ping pong, popcorn, fairy floss, a sausage sizzle and fizzy drinks and lots more!
This is an invitation to you and your family to join us after school. From 3:30pm to 6:30pm we will be hosting table tennis games, some food and drinks and a chance to catch up with each other, and meet other families from our school.
Why we are fundraising...
Did you know that there are 40.3 million men, women, teens and children in the world today who are stuck in slavery. 40.3 million people with hopes and dreams, who want their lives to matter, to mean something MORE - just like you and me!
Poverty and harsh circumstances have made them vulnerable. They show courage beyond understanding just to survive another day. They courageously wait for rescue.
For HOPE. For JUSTICE. For FREEDOM.
BPS has joined the Ping-Pong-A-Thon because EVERY person matters.
We have joined because we believe that every person deserves the chance to live a life that is FREE.
The Pingpongathon is a dynamic fundraising and advocacy movement combating human trafficking and exploitation of young people in South East Asia. Communities across Australia & the USA, host table tennis events between 3 and 24 hours in length.
We have signed up to play, and now I am inviting you, your family and friends, to come along and enjoy this event, make a donation and support this incredible organisation. $1500 is all it takes to free somebody from slavery and our goal this year at BPS is to try and raise $5000.
Will you join us in helping to set lives free?
The entry fee is $5 which also gives you two raffle tickets to participate in activities. Further raffle tickets can be purchased on the day for $3 each which buys sausages, drinks, etc.
Here is our event page if you would like to make a donation to change the lives of children in slavery:

There will also be QR codes on the day if you would like to make a donation there!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
I look forward to seeing you all on the 16th of September!
