Library News
The staff at the Discovery Centre at Clyde North and the Terry Feely Library at Cranbourne encourage students to read from a wide range of genres and we have many new books we have just purchased ready for them to read.
To commemorate Anzac Day both libraries have a poppy display honouring all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in war. One of our many novels covering the subject of war is “ Simpson and his donkey” by Mark Greenwood which is the heroic story of one man and a donkey. A poignant account of the story of John Simpson Kirkpatrick and how he and his donkey Duffy rescued over 300 men during the campaign at Gallipoli during World War 1.
