Stage 1 News 

Year 1

In our Writing unit we have been busy learning how to plan and construct an informative text. Year 1 have researched everything about Giraffes and recorded the information they have learnt. Did you know that giraffes’ unique spots are like fingerprints, with no two giraffes having the same pattern?

In our Science unit we have been learning about different types of technology. Year 1 have been practising their coding skills with Blue Bots.

Year 2

Year 2 are learning about Digital Systems in Science and Technology this term. As part of this learning, we are exploring robotics and coding. Here are some photos of 2S working collaboratively to build, problem solve and code robotics.

Year 2 are so excited to be beginning our Swimming program on Monday 10th November (Mon-Thurs). Please ensure your child arrives at school each morning by 8.40am and remember to come dressed with swimwear worn underneath the sports uniform. Please also bring swimming gear in a smaller tote/shopping bag with student's name on it with their towel, goggles, optional swimming cap and underwear in it. Thank you for your cooperation.
