News from One/Two

Happy Holidays!

As Term 2 comes to a close, I would like to send a huge thank you to all our wonderful families for your support with reading at home. Your time, encouragement, and consistency make a big difference, and we’ve seen such fantastic growth in every child’s confidence and skills. Whether it was listening to readers, helping with word practice, or sharing bedtime stories.

We’re incredibly proud of all the hard work the students have put in this term. They’ve shown great persistence, curiosity, and joy in their learning – it’s been a pleasure to watch them shine.

Wishing you all a safe, restful, and cozy winter break. Enjoy the slower days, warm drinks, and extra cuddles. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in Term 3 for another exciting and busy stretch of learning.

Take care and thank you again.

Natural Bird Seed Feeder

We made some in class this week, and they are a great way to keep the birds fed over winter when food is scarce. Here are the pictures of how to make one. Have a go at home over the break.

Sharing one of my favourite things about trees... TREE SHYNESS!

When you are in a forest, look up and you will see the canopy and how the trees leave a space between them.  Go and see for yourself, it's very cool.
