šæWellbeing Week: A Time to Pause and Prioritise šæ
From 24th to 30th June 2025, we celebrateĀ World Wellbeing Week, a global initiative that encourages individuals, schools, families, and communities to focus on all aspects of wellbeing. Often, our wellbeing isnāt something we actively think about until something affects it. However, checking in with ourselves and supporting others is essential for staying healthy, both physically and mentally. This week is a reminder to prioritise the things that contribute to a healthy and balanced life, including connection, self-care, movement, gratitude, and more.
Itās a great opportunity to:
Open up conversations about mental and physical health
Share ideas and personal experiences
Learn about simple steps we can take to feel better, every day
Everyday Wellbeing for Families
ā Take time for yourself: Self-care isnāt a luxury, itās a necessity. Whether itās reading, going for a walk, listening to music or enjoying a quiet cuppa, small moments to recharge can make a big difference.
ā Connect with others: A meaningful chat with a friend or loved one can lift your spirits. Human connection is one of the strongest contributors to long-term wellbeing.
ā Focus on gratitude: Try writing down one or two things youāre grateful for each day. Even small moments can positively shift your perspective.
ā Make health a priority: Regular check-ups, nourishing meals and quality sleep are key. Your wellbeing is worth investing in.
ā Get moving: Find physical activity you enjoy, such as walking, swimming, dancing, or stretching. Movement helps your body and boosts your mood.
