Year -1/2 Unit

The last few weeks of term two have been fun filled and now many students are looking forward to the holidays.
Students have been learning about shapes in maths and enjoyed creating a face out of different shapes.
They have also been writing their own creative stories, making choices about characters, settings and problems.
In reading students have been practicing visualising, where they create a movie in their mind to help them better understand the events, characters, and details of the story. They have used the words in the text and their five senses to visualise.
Students culminated their Inquiry learning by finishing their planet posters and their papier mache planets. They chose interesting facts and read them out loud to their class.
We wish all students and their families a relaxing break. See you term 3!
