School Council Introduction

Hello,

My name is Sara Webster, I'm a mum to Zema in grade 2 and Welel, a three month old who's a little way off yet from coming to BNWPS!

As a child of two primary school teachers, and a very short stint as a teachers aid many moons ago, I've always had a keen interest in spaces that allow kids to learn, grow and thrive in.  I'm passionate about creating a community that is inclusive, assessable and culturally safe for all. When not on parental leave, I  manage programs for the Fred Hollows Foundation in the Pacific region and Timor-Leste. I love a good hike and camping.

Feel free to come say hi. I never seem to be successful in getting our clan to leave the oval or playground before 4:30pm so you will usually find us there!

Hello! I’m Ann, the mum of Elliot in grade two and Noah in Foundation. During my 2+ years at BNWPS I’ve enjoyed building connections with parents and staff, and have been involved in the communications subcommittee and Yakai Baring working group.

On school council I’m looking forward to working with other members and leadership to support our kids’ learning and our wonderful school community.

You’ll often find me at Sprout after drop off on Friday and am always up for a chat. Please feel free to saying hi!
