Leadership Report

Many thanks...

As my time working as the relieving Deputy Principal comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside such a dedicated and supportive community.

Over the past five weeks, it has been my privilege to contribute to the wellbeing and success of our students while fostering and strengthening positive relationships with the wider community.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge the resilience and growth I've witnessed among our students. Their enthusiasm for learning and their determination to overcome challenges has been truly inspiring. I've been committed to prioritising their wellbeing, providing a supportive environment where they feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Equally important has been the collaboration, open communication and partnership with parents and caregivers. Your trust, engagement, and willingness to work together has been integral to the success of our students.

I also want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Guy Walmsley and my colleagues for their professionalism and dedication. Together, we have worked hard to create a positive school culture that prioritises the wellbeing and success of every student. Your support and collaboration has been invaluable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of co-leading such a dynamic and cohesive team.

As I transition back into Room 4 as the Year 1/2 teacher, I carry with me the lessons learned and the connections made during my time as relieving Deputy Principal. While my role may change, my commitment to the inclusion and wellbeing of our students and school community remains unwavering.

Thank you for your support, trust, and collaboration and I look forward to continuing to work together to create a bright future for our students.
