Jump Rope For Heart
Thank you to all our students who jumped and skipped their way through 2 hours of activity last Friday. A fun day was had by everyone! Our K-6 students have raised over $4600.00 for the National Heart Foundation. A big thank you to all our families for your continual support.
Polding Cross Country
Good luck to the following students who are travelling to Sydney to participate in the Polding Cross Country on Wednesday.

Infants Cross Country
The annual Infants Cross Country will be held on the back oval for Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students on Friday 14 June. Families are welcome to come and watch the children run. Kindergarten will do 1 lap and Year 1 & 2 children will do 2 laps of the back oval. Races will begin at approximately 12:15pm.
Year 3-6 Athletics Carnival
The annual Primary School Athletics Track Carnival will be held on the school oval on Friday 21 June. This will be combined with the secondary students starting at approximately 9:15am. Families are welcome to come and watch. Students will compete in age groups – 8\9 years, 10 years, 11 years & 12 years (open). It is the age they turn this year. Track events to be held on the day include 800m, 200m, 100m & house relays. Events will begin with the 8\9year boys 800m followed by the girls then continue through the ages. No exact start times can be given. Field events include high jump, long jump, discus and shot put. These will be held separately and students will rotate through these activities on Friday 28 June on the back oval. Students are to wear their full school sports uniform but may wear house colour T-shirts on the day(Johns – yellow, Marks – red, Pauls – blue, Leos – Green). All students are expected to participate in their age race and a minimum of one field event. Children should bring their hat, sunscreen and water bottle. If your child suffers from asthma, they need to bring their own Ventolin. The school canteen will be available on the day.
