Founders Day

Last week, as part of Catholic School Week, HTS celebration not only the feast of the Holy Trinity, but also our school founders. Our Founders Day began with Mass said by Fr Paul in the school hall, then a range of activities for all students from K to 10 with our picnic lunch in the middle of the day . Students played games outside and learnt about our two founders, Catherine McAuley and St John Baptist de La Salle. Our secondary SRC ran all the games and we also had our first secondary Trivia afternoon which was great fun! Thank you to Miss Cush and the SRC/Captains for their support and running of the day - it was a great success!

6D Mass

This Friday, 6D will be leading the Stage 3 Mass celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Jesus’ guiding heart continually brings us back on the right path toward Jesus.'

The Sacred Heart emphasis’s the never-ending love, compassion and the suffering that Jesus’ heart endured. The Sacred Heart is important to our parish church, not only in the name, but also it shows Jesus’ love and passion. The sacred heart teaches us that every person matters, every person should be loved, every person should be cared for and every person should be shown compassion. Family and friends we invited to join the Mass at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, 7 June at 9:30am

Blessed Carlo Acutis

Carlo Acutis was an Italian teenager known for his deep faith and his love for technology. Born on May 3, 1991, in London and raised in Milan, Carlo was passionate about computers and used his skills to create a website cataloging Eucharistic miracles from around the world. Despite his young age, he was a devout Catholic who attended daily Mass and prayed the Rosary. Carlo was diagnosed with leukemia and offered his suffering for the Pope and the Church before passing away on October 12, 2006, at the age of 15. He was beatified on October 10, 2020, recognising his extraordinary faith and devotion. In 2025, Carlo Acutis will become the first millennial saint, serving as an inspiring role model for young people everywhere.

Our parish is blessed to receive an exhibition of Eucharistic miracles, which is based on the work of Blessed Carlo. He developed a webpage www.miracolieucaristici.org to show to the world 32 eucharistic miracles from history.

Please see the attached flyer for more information and times in which you are able to visit the exhibition.
