Dear SMCM Community, Wominjeka!

This Saturday we celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with our Year 6 students and their families. Please pray for our young parishioners as they renew their baptismal promises and are filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Next week we celebrate Refugee Week. This is a week to learn more about the challenges faced by refugees and celebrate the positive contributions made by refugees to Australian society. The theme for Refugee Week 2024 is “Our Home”.  SMCM’s vibrant and diverse community is enriched by many refugee families and we look forward to the opportunity to learn more next week and ensure a culture of welcome in our community. Together, this Refugee Week let’s practice our solidarity and make "Our Home" a more welcoming, safe and sustainable place for all.

Next Thursday 20th June, is our whole school Athletics Day at Meadowglen Athletics  Track.  All information about this day has been included in the permission notes that were sent home earlier this term. Reminders will be included in Monday Morning's 'Weekly What's On' message on Audiri. If you are able to assist on the day please see the Community and Family Engagement section of today's newsletter.
