Acceleration Process

Acceleration  - Year 10 into Units 1 & 2 Subject 

Students wishing to apply to accelerate into a VCE subject as part of their Year 10 studies, will need to complete the ‘Application to Accelerate in a Unit 1 & 2 subject' form. This form will be available from the Senior Sub School office from Tuesday 11th June and must be returned, fully completed, by Monday 15th July to the Senior Sub School office. 

Students will be required to complete the form as well as provide a copy of their Semester 1 report for the subject they wish to accelerate in, as well as their English report from Semester 1. These documents need to be attached to the acceleration form when submitted. 

Acceleration  - Year 11 to accelerate (or to continue to accelerate) into Units 3 & 4 Subject 

Students wishing to accelerate into a Unit 3 & 4 subject or to continue to accelerate into a Unit 3 & 4 of a subject they are already completing as part of their Year 10 studies will need to complete the ‘Application to Accelerate in a Unit 3 & 4 subject’ form. This form will be available from the Senior Sub School office from Tuesday 11th June and must be returned, fully completed by Monday 15th July to the Senior Sub School office. 

Students will be required to complete the form as well as provide a copy of their Semester 1 report for the subject they wish to accelerate in (or continue to accelerate in) as well as their English report from Semester 1. These documents need to be attached to the acceleration form when submitted.
