TERM 3: WEEK 1
Hi, Year 7 Families,
I look forward to welcoming all students back on Monday, 8 July, at 8:30 am, ready to commence a busy Term 3. During the break, I hope you took some time to relax and recharge in anticipation for the term ahead!
As we farewell Mr Chapman to an Acting Deputy Principal Position at Mackillop Catholic College, I am pleased to be able to step into the Year 7 Head of Year position for the remainder of the year. Having begun this year as a Year 7 Pastoral Mentor, I am familiar with many students in the cohort.
I look forward to working with the Year 7 Pastoral Mentors, teachers, and families in Semester 2 to continue supporting and challenging our students.
I am especially looking forward to our Year 7 Camp at Echo Creek, which is quickly approaching in Week 5. Parent Slips were emailed at the end of Term 2 to be completed during the holidays. Please reach out to me should you have questions or concerns.
On behalf of Ms McBryde and me, please find Week 1 key information and important reminders below. Please take a moment to read each section, especially the Uniform and Personal Grooming requirements for the commencement of Term 3.
We look forward to welcoming all Year 7 students back on Monday!

ST MARY'S CATHOLIC COLLEGE PRESENTS ANNIE JR.
Get ready for a toe-tapping, heartwarming, and utterly delightful musical performance of Annie Jr, presented by the talented St Mary's Catholic College student cast!
Let us take you back to New York City in 1933, during the Great Depression, a time when people were hungry and cold, and the orphanages were filled with sad children reflecting on their 'Hard-Knock' life. Enter the Billionaire Warbucks, who, with the help of his lovely secretary Grace, is on a mission to improve his public image by sharing their luxurious Christmas with an orphan in need. Initially disappointed that the orphan is not a boy, he grows very fond of the bubbly and spirited Annie. Along the way, we experience the undesirable characters of the cruel Miss Hannigan, who runs the Hudson Street Orphanage, her swindling brother Rooster and his ditzy girlfriend Lily, who are all looking for a quick ride to 'Easy Street'.
Tickets are on sale Monday, 8 July 2024, from 8:00 am.
