A big thank you to everyone who provided ideas, thoughts and suggestions as part of our Sowing the Seed of Innovation initiative. We now have over 100 submissions to consider as part of our School Development Day at the beginning of Term 3. These will form the basis for discussions on the day and provide inspiration for further planning and courses at the College.
We were pleased to welcome a few people from the Department of Education promotions team who visited the College on Wednesday to spend the day photographing various sections around the College. They arrived nice and early to capture morning milking and spent the day touring the site with Mr Swallow. They were amazed at the variety of opportunities available to students around the College and thoroughly enjoyed their lunch with students. They were also very impressed with the students they met throughout the day saying they were the 'most polite and friendly students' they had ever met.
A big thank you to all the staff for their patience and co-operation during the day. We look forward to receiving the photographs in due course.
The College community was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr John Lowe. Mr Pfitzner and Mrs Hickman attended his memorial service today on behalf of the College community in recognition of his long standing contribution to the Ag Advisory and association with the College.
Thank you to Ms Stringer for the work she has done on getting everything planned and in place for the Country Week trip to Perth. A reminder that while some of our students will be away during Week 11 Mr Dyson and the Heads of Departments have ensured that there is a valuable and educational program in place for the week. All year groups and every student is expected to be at school as per a normal week, unless they are attending Country Week.
Semester One reports are being finalised and will be published to parents on 24th June 2024. Parent interviews can then be booked for Tuesday 16th July 2024 to discuss any concerns or clarify any perceived issues.
