Big Question
This week, our Big Question is: 'How do we prepare for change?' Change can sometimes feel a little strange or even scary because we get used to things being a certain way. Just like trying a new game with friends, it’s normal to feel nervous when something is different.
Change is also an important part of learning and growing. Moving to a new class, meeting new people, or trying something new can open up exciting opportunities. Preparing for change helps make it easier—like practising before a big game—so we feel confident and ready to give it our best. As part of this, our transition process for 2026 begins this week, giving students time to talk, prepare, and feel supported as they get ready for change.
While change can be tricky, it helps us grow stronger and discover things we might not have thought possible!
Program Support Group (PSG) Meetings
Thank you to the parents, carers, and teachers who have already taken part in PSG meetings over the past week. These conversations are an important opportunity to work together in supporting the unique needs, strengths, and learning goals of each student.
PSG meetings will continue throughout this week. We appreciate the time and commitment from families and staff in ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive.
Your partnership makes a meaningful difference—thank you for your continued collaboration.
Stage 2 Master Plan – Building Work Started
We are excited to announce that Whelan Master Builders have once again been appointed to construct Stage 2 of our Master Plan. Whelan successfully completed Stage 1 in 2023 and, following another thorough process, will continue their partnership with us for the next phase of our school’s development.
As a reminder, last year we were successful in securing State funding to progress Stage 2, which will include extensive renovations to all Year 3/4 classrooms and our Prep classrooms, along with the addition of new spaces such as a toilet near our Djak Tjarra (Enviro) area.
Fencing is now in place around the first section of the Stage 2 works, and construction will begin this week focusing initially on the Year 3/4 classrooms and the toilet facilities near the Knuldoorong.
We look forward to seeing the exciting progress unfold and the positive impact these improvements will have on our students and wider school community.

Prayer for the Week
Loving God,
We come before You with grateful hearts as we begin this new week.
Thank You for the gift of learning, the guidance of our teachers, and the friendships that enrich our lives.
Bless our school community and grant us wisdom, patience, and kindness to support one another with diligence and unity.
Protect us, Lord, and fill our hearts with peace and joy. Help us to make choices that honor You and bring out the best in ourselves and others.
We ask this prayer through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
God Bless,
