Term one wrap up:

Well what a term we have had! 

Shrove Tuesday, Bogan Bingo, Colour Run and the ticket sales for the Mother’s Day lunch just to name a few. 

 

Massive thank you to the Grade 5 reps who worked so hard on our Bogan Bingo night. We appreciate the cost of living has increased and still the donations from families, local businesses and the purchases were very generous and it is always appreciated. Ideas for next year have already been thrown around...

Well done to the amazing Prep team with the colour run. The event is yet to be had as i’m writing this but I know it will be a huge success. The plan is to have a designated ‘pick up time’ for the prizes (approx week 4 in T2) so we aren’t relying on the children to bring home their goodies.

 

We also thank the parents who contributed to the staff end of term morning tea. I hope to receive some pics of some content faces in the staff room. It’s a lovely way we can thank the teachers for all the effort and care they put into our children every day. 

We cannot have all these fun events without the help of the families so we really appreciate it. 

 

Our Term 2 P&F meeting is scheduled for April 23rd where we will discuss how much we’ve raised and collectively decide on what we plan to do with the funds. 

Term 2 promises to be just as much fun with key events such as Mother's Day (stall, breakfast and lunch), Winter sports (yr 5 & 6), Eucharist (yr 3), family masses and the annual school disco.

Mother’s Day Silent Auction

Grade 1 reps are now collecting donations suitable for the St Finbar’s PS Mother’s Day Lunch silent auction. 

Ideas for donations include:

-Those who have an Airbnb rental (or similar) a 2 night accomodation

-Those with businesses, it maybe a suitable service/product. 

-Alternatively small businesses/corporates may also like to sponsor a hamper

 

Families and businesses who support our function will be promoted on the day.

Deadline - Silent auction items need to confirmed 20 April 2024. This will give reps the time to include in silent auction that we have open  2 weeks before Mother’s Day lunch.
