Junior School Council (JSC and Environmental Group

We have a couple of fantastic events ahead this week that our Junior School Council (JSC) and Environmental Group reps have coordinated.

Thursday March 21 – Harmony Day / Positive Role Model Dress Up Day

Coinciding with Harmony Day, we have asked students to come dressed up to school as someone who has been a positive role model or influence for them. This could be a family member, friend or some other important person in your life.

It could be someone you don’t know personally that is a positive influence such as a sportsperson, musician, celebrity or any other career. It could even be a character from a book or movie. Anyone that is a positive role model for you!

It is a gold coin donation and all money raised will go to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

We look forward to seeing everyone dressed up!

Friday March 22 – National Ride 2 School Day

Our JSC and Environmental Reps are hoping as many students as possible can participate in this event on Friday. Students are asked to ride, scoot, skate or walk to school to promote healthy living and getting active! We know some families need to drive to school but we ask, if possible, that these students could drive part of the way and walk the remainder.

This is a free event and all students that do this will be in the running for some great prizes!
