Everyone is invited to the Calrossy P & F meeting on Tuesday 19th March.  We will be planning  some of our future events and discussing projects. This is a great opportunity for anyone from the Calrossy community to come along, ask questions and be part of the change that matters across our School.

Junior School P&F Easter Fundraiser  

The Junior School P&F Easter fundraiser will be held next week. The P&F will provide the Easter egg prizes this year and the SRC will also run a guessing competition during the week.

Tickets - on sale Monday 25th to Thursday 28th March 

Cost - $1 per ticket with a $20 limit per child. 

Prizes Drawn - Thursday 28th March 

The funds raised from this competition will be used to support the Infants Mud Kitchens.

Alumni 

Over the weekend we had the absolute pleasure to host a visit from the 1964 School Leavers. These ladies celebrated their 60th reunion, graduating from the then ‘Tamworth Church of England Girls School’. Over a delicious long lunch, memories were revisited, with many interesting and compelling stories

The group celebrated that they were part of a generation of women who were employed and had career paths beyond parenthood, appropriate with International Women’s Day the day before.

We would like to sincerely thank Mrs Prue Hartigan (Delaney) and Mrs Jacque Fogarty (Abbott) for their support. A big shout out to all the people that travelled back to Tamworth.

We would also like to make a special mention to Mr David Smith - Principal, Mrs Catriona White - School Archivist, Mr Michael Wilson - Development Coordinator and Mr Simon Hartigan Head Chef who expertly hosted our visitors.

This group has remained very active in their ongoing connection and support of Calrossy and it was lovely that they donated funds to the Calrossy Foundation - Mary England (Melville 43) Scholarship.

Thank you again to everyone for coming to lunch and sharing more of your adventures.
