Welcome back to all JSA students and their familes for a wonderful Term 2.

We hope that our students enjoyed a fantastic holiday and returned feeling refreshed for further opportunities to learn about the world around them, whilst growing in thier independence.

Highlights of his term include:

Term 2 Swimming Program (Broadmeadows Leisure Centre)

• Secondaries (Week 3): April 29th - May 3rd
• Middles (Week 4): May 6th - May 10th
• Primaries (Week 5): May 13th - May 17th 

We are seeking parent volunteers. 

Please look out for volunteer forms in your child's diary. 

We would dearly appreciate your support with our students, please note that a current Working With Childrens Check (WWCC) is required.

Term 2 SSGs

This term, our SSG Meetings are to be held from Monday, 13th May - Thursday 30th May (Weeks 5-7). 

This will be a great opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to go through the detail included in your child's Individual Education Plan (IEP).  Your child's teacher can explain  your child's:

• academic level
• level of learning adjustment
• type of learning adjustments 
• teaching strategies we use to engage your child in each area of their learning

I encourage parents and carers to walk through their child's IEP so that you can establish a better understanding of the supports we have in place to support your child's learning and engagement.
