Homegroup

All students have completed their folio assessment for Homegroup where they will be assessed against the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 Personal and Social Capabilities. This was a compilation of their work across the semester.  

Year 8 students had a wonderful Emotional Regulation session in which they chose which activity to participate in. Students have identified physiological changes in the body that indicate stress and dysregulation, as well as activities they can do to regulate themselves.  

Year 10 students have continued with their ‘careers and academics’ sessions. They were also fortunate enough to have a presentation by Andrew Fisher from Life Choices. Andrew Fisher has raced at the pinnacle of Australian Motorsport in V8 Supercars, V8 Utes, and Porsches, and is currently racing an SLR 5000 in the Touring Car Masters series. 

He has won many races; more importantly, he has spoken to over 400,000 High School students and thousands of inmates in jails and detention centres across the country about being courageous in the face of difficulty.
