The Arts and Technologies 

The Art Team is excited to share updates from our Year 11 Art Creative Practice students as they begin exploring printmaking. Over the past few weeks, they have investigated a range of printmaking techniques, experimenting with different processes, textures, patterns, and imagery to create unique visual outcomes. Through a series of trials, students have explored layering, composition, and mark-making, developing an understanding of how these elements can be combined to communicate ideas and personal themes.

As they continue their creative journey, students will refine their technical skills while further developing their individual visual language. Drawing on their experimentation and research, they will work towards creating a resolved final artwork that reflects both their artistic intentions and growing confidence as creative practitioners. We look forward to seeing the diverse and innovative works that emerge from this exciting stage of their artistic development.
