Shine the Light

Foundation

The Foundation students have been learning about community helpers and to further develop their iPad skills, they enjoyed investigating the application, Triple Zero, Hero!

They also enjoyed two visits from the Fire Brigade to consolidate their learning about how Fire Fighters are very important community helpers.

Year 1

Year 1 we have been ‘shining the light’ by following Jesus’ footsteps. We are trying to be more like Him. 

Year 2

With Easter approaching, the students have been learning about the Stations of the Cross. The Year 2 students created amazing artwork to represent one of the stations.

Year 4

In inquiry, the Year 4 students have been learning about how Health initiatives are advertised in the media. They came up with a slogan and facts about an idea they had to implement here at St Mary's! Well done, Year 4.

Year 5

The Year 5 students have been learning how to balance our physical, mental and social wellbeing. Their task was to create an activity that would help focus on one of these areas and facilitate as a workshop to their Year 1 buddies. 

Year 6

Year 6 are learning about shapes, location, line types and geometry by making 3D Geometric cities.
