Year 12 Feature

Year 12 Feature
Throughout this term our College community has come together to raise awareness and funds for Sienna Barbara in Year 12. Driven by the leadership and dedication of our Year 12 students, a range of fundraising events have brought our community together in support of Sienna.
Year 12 Students have been busy making purple ribbons to sell as a symbol of cancer awareness and support of Sienna. We held a highly anticipated Mufti Day in Week 10 that was paired with a BBQ that lifted spirits and boosted donations. The BBQ was run by 12 Jackson and Sienna’s peers. The term’s fundraising efforts culminated in a mega Easter raffle, which was a huge success thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our families, so much so that we were able to offer an incredible 60 prizes!
While the final fundraising total is still being finalised, we can already say that a substantial amount has been raised. This achievement is a testament to the heartfelt involvement of students, staff, and families alike.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to our parents and families for their support, donations, and encouragement throughout the campaign. Your generosity and spirit have made a real difference. These initiatives run by Year 12 have truly embodied the College’s charisms, faith, courage, tolerance, compassion, dignity, and justice and reflect our Catholic ethos of standing with others in their time of need. We are so proud of the unity and empathy shown by our community.
As we come to the end of Term 1, Year 12 can reflect on the first of many lasts, from their final Athletics Carnival to the College’s first full Swimming Carnival in years. Their participation and enthusiasm at these events have shown true spirit and a deep sense of community, setting the tone for the year ahead.
