News from the Office

Limited office staff

A reminder that I will not be in the office on Monday 5th May due to our OHS assessment and the office will be minimally staffed. 

For anything non-urgent, please send an email (ceres.ps@education.vic.gov.au) and I will get back to you as soon as possible on Tuesday. 

If you are running late, please sign students in as normal at the iPad in the office before directing students to their classroom. If you are collecting students early, please try and notify the classroom teacher ahead of time (where possible) and sign them out in the iPad in the office before collecting them from the classroom directly. 

Veggie patch - call for manure donations

If any families have any manure for our veggie patches, please contact the office! 

We are looking to start preparing the gardens for our winter crops in coming weeks.

150th Bake Sale

A huge thank you to those that have collected containers for our Bake Stall this coming Saturday! 

Donations will be collected this afternoon at school pick up.

Mother's Day Stall

Items must be pre-purchased through QKR (Home | Qkr! by MasterCard).

Orders close 7th May with items available for collection on Friday 9th May at pick up at the bus shelter.

Book Club Issue 3

By now, students will have come home with the latest issue of Book Club! 

Orders close 9am Monday 12th May and must be placed via the LOOP portal.

Music Bus 

Due to low numbers, the Music Bus lessons for Term 2 have been cancelled. If there is enough interest in the future, lessons will resume. 

Lessons will take place Thursday morning at 7.45am.

Fresh Meal Fairy Canteen

Every Friday our students have the opportunity to have lunch delivered to school. Orders are to be placed by 9pm Thursday for delivery the next day.

The CSEF form can be collected from the office or downloaded here and must be submitted before 4 July 2025.

Conveyance Applications

The Conveyance Allowance form is available from the office or downloaded here: 

Term 1 conveyance applications must be submitted by 14th March.

Container Deposit Scheme

We are registered with Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme. 

You can donate by returning your containers and donating the 10 cent refund for every eligible can, carton or bottle!
